Pregnancy #2 – Week 18

Baby is the size of… a sweet potato, sugar glider, sling shot, or a croissant (Hank’s favorite!)

Highlight of the Week… We had such a cool ultrasound this week. Baby was active, which made it a little difficult for the tech, but at the same time, was fun to see. Lots of punching, kicking, sipping fluid, the works. Baby’s favorite position is with their feet right up by their ears, and boy! Those legs are long! We were able to come away with a ton of images of Baby. See our favorite below.

Frustration of the Week… Heartburn is starting to rear its ugly head, mostly in the evenings, so back to downing those Tums.

Cute thing the boys did… Right now, it’s all cuddles for Baby from Cam, Jax, and Hank.

Curiosities… We found out why I’m not feeling any movement and probably won’t for a while. My placenta is at the front of my uterus, which creates a thick extra layer between Baby and my skin. All of their movements will be muted for another few weeks.
